Frequently asked questions
How do I make a high-protein meal plan?
Pick a daily protein target (often 1.4 to 2.0 g per kg of body weight if you exercise), then plan meals with 25 to 40 g each. This generator does it for you from tested recipes and builds the grocery list.
How much protein is a high-protein diet?
There is no single definition, but most high-protein plans provide 1.2 to 2.0 g of protein per kg of body weight, or roughly 25 to 35% of calories from protein.
Can I make a vegetarian or vegan high-protein meal plan?
Yes. Choose Vegetarian or Vegan and the plan uses only matching recipes, such as tofu scrambles, lentil salads and chickpea curry. Vegan plans may land a little lower in protein.
Is this meal plan free?
Yes. It runs in your browser with no sign-up. You can print the plan or copy the grocery list.
Can I save the plan on my phone?
Print it or copy the list, or use RecipeVault, which keeps your weekly plan and grocery list on your phone and shares them with your household.
How many calories are in the meal plan?
Each meal and day shows calories. Most days land between about 1,300 and 2,000 kcal before snacks, depending on your protein target.
